TVSS Company Profile:

Transit Video Security Systems, Inc. was founded in 1991 in Newark, NJ. It developed its video tape surveillance system, ClaimSafe®, which was highly successful in reducing insurance and litigation costs. The parent company of Transit Video Security Systems was purchased by Coach USA in 1998. Deciding to go digital, TVSS hired the highly experienced contract engineering firm of U-Neek Solutions to design its new product. After the successful design and introduction of ClaimSafe® II, the engineers responsible for the design of this highest-quality product bought the assets of the company from Coach USA in 2001, incorporating as TVSS, Inc. Now, as a totally independent company, TVSS focuses on customer needs in terms of quality systems, reliability of the equipment, operator and technician training, and above all the safety and security of passengers and operators.

With its headquarters nestled in the small but beautiful Upstate New York community of Owego, TVSS is both warm and friendly in doing business, and highly competent in developing its technology. The design and development work of TVSS is executed by senior engineers with highly successful histories in companies such as IBM, Lockheed Martin, Link Flight Simulation, and GE.

The new TVSS uses the ISO 9002 certified manufacturer Hidden Valley Electronics to assemble its ClaimSafe® II systems. TVSS guarantees the high-quality work the manufacturer does in assembling its product.
